Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness

The Mommies Reviews

My nephew has been coming over in the afternoons with my sister so we can walk. Charlie enjoys having Jason here and playing basketball with Jason and my sister.

Jason likes to hit Charlie and Charlie gets upset and doesn’t want to be around Jason. I can’t blame Charlie for feeling this way. I’ve been reminding Charlie Jason is younger than him and he should walk away.

Which is hard because Jason follows Charlie. David and I ask Jason to stop and my sister gets on Jason as well but his hitting Charlie happens every time Jason is over. This morning Charlie asked me if Jason had to come back over.

I had to remind Charlie Jason is younger than him and he should be kind and tell Jason how he feels and I’m hoping this weekend while we have Ice Cream and do a Craft that I can read Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness to Jason and Charlie and it gets Jason to think about how he treats Charlie and that he stops.

For Valentines Day we will be using Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness for our reading class and Art class as we will draw bees and I will be putting together a lesson plan on Bees for Charlie to study.

We can use Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness in our spelling class as there is words Charlie doesn’t know how to spell. Language Arts as Charlie can look up the words he doesn’t know.

As well as PE as it tells us the steps to take when we are doing loving-kindness meditation on our home. For parents there is notes to Bee Keepers we can use not only in our classroom but in our home.

I liked learning Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness is Frank J. Sileo second book. If you would like to check out the first book it is called Bee Still: An Invitation to Mediation and Bee Calm which would be the perfect Valentines Day Gift for little readers. Or check out this page for other books he has written.

Charlie was able to read Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness on his own with just a little bit of help from me and Jason is in Kindergarten and he was also able to read and understand a lot of this book on his own. I can’t wait to see what my nice Lily thinks of Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness .

The Authors of Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness is a psychologist and an award-winning author of children’s books.  Bee Heartful: Spread Loving-Kindness will be released in January in time for Valentine’s Day.

Readers will rejoice that Bentley the bee is back in this third book in Frank J. Sileo’s award-winning series. When compassionate Bentley sends loving-kindness thoughts to himself and others, he can feel his heart growing: May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you be peaceful.

When Willie Wasp steals Bentley’s favorite red scarf, it really stings! Bentley has the whole garden buzzing as he works through the situation. This sweet story shows the power of strong, positive, and loving thoughts.

Includes a note from the author with more information about loving-kindness and related meditation, and guidelines for how readers can practice being heartful just like Bentley!
