‘TIL MIDNIGHT AT THE NASHER | MAY 2019
I’ve been looking for new fun events to bring my family to this weekend. When I was online I saw a post called “Til Midnight At The Nasher. I can’t wait until David comes home so I can ask him and Charlie if they would like to go tomorrow night.

Where: Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street, Dallas, TX 75201 Details: Enjoy an entire FREE day at the Nasher Sculpture Center. For National Art Museum Day, visitors can enjoy FREE admission from 11 a.m. to midnight, with concerts and a film starting at 6 p.m.
Enjoy concerts by Seysei and Johnny Stimson and watch Steel Magnolias (PG, 1989) in the Nasher Sculpture Center Garden. Schedule: 6:00 p.m. / Opener: Seysei 8:00 p.m. Concert: Johnny Stimson 9:00 p.m.

Seysei: Seysei is a pop singer who was born in India and bred in the U.S. She grew up performing in Dallas Children’s Choir, later becoming her own artist by 2008 and quickly building a buzz in her home state of Nagaland from her tours around India.
With a collection of her own singles and self-directed videos that have garnered widespread success, Seysei will bring a refreshing pop performance to the Nasher Garden.
Johnny Stimson: Johnny Stimson is a Dallas-based singer-songwriter who derives his interests from various sources, such as The Beatles, Tom Misch and Frank Ocean.
His taste for funk and soul adds a distinct sound to his pop music, which has led to widespread success on iTunes charts in various countries. His voice and his funk- and soul-infused style will complement the Garden and activities of the night.
Steel Magnolias (PG-1989): Steel Magnolias tells the story of a young beautician who moves to Louisiana to work for a local salon and joins a group of women who encounter various circumstances that bring them closer together.
About ‘Til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts in the Nasher Sculpture Center Garden. At each event, a variety of national and regional music talent perform followed by a film screening.
Guests have the opportunity to attend the Nasher for free, taking in the museum’s renowned collection of modern and contemporary art as well as the current exhibitions Sheila Hicks: Seize, Weave Space and Pairings: Sculpture in the Nasher & Rachofsky Collections. At this event, enjoy museum tours, activities, and games throughout the Nasher lead by the museum’s Visitor Experience team.
The Nasher Cafe is open until 11 p.m. and the Nasher Store stays open late too.
DART to ‘Til Midnight – Take the DART Rail (any line) to Pearl / Arts District Station or St. Paul Station and walk three blocks North to Flora Street.
