It’s Saturday, April 6, 2019, and I wanted to bring you a new Homeschooling Resource. This mornings is for Art. The Recommended Website is Pavement Drawings – 3D Illusions.
Charlie has always loved Art. Charlie would take a Art class everyday for hours on end and leave math and reading out if he could. Charlie can’t do that and has to take all three classes. This morning I would like to invite you to come and check Pavement Drawings – 3D Illusions with us.
Pavement Drawings – 3D Illusions
Age Range: All (All grades; children with parental supervision) This website features the work of sidewalk art master Julian Beever. If you have kids who like to draw on the sidewalk (or if you enjoyed it yourself as a child) – don’t miss this website! It takes sidewalk art to a whole new level.
When you get to the site you’ll see small thumbnail renderings of the 3D pavement drawings. There are over seventy-five 3D illusions to amaze and amuse you. You can also see some of the artist’s self-portraits (under “Miscellaneous”) – that appear to be reflections on a concrete canvas.
This is a delightful exhibit – sure to inspire the sidewalk artists in your family. If it does, then don’t miss this recipe for how to make your own sidewalk chalk.
