#HGG Sponsor Roosterfin Monkeys Up Game!!
I am so happy Rooster has joined us as I know Roosterfin will be something we can use in Charlies homeschooling. As well as to help him focus more since he struggles with it. As he has been diagonsed with ADD and the counselor says Board Games will with ADD.
I love Monkeys as did my daughter. So when I saw Monkeys Reviews was available for a review I knew it would be the perfect game to play with Charlie with. SO I was sent Monkeys Up but the thoughts in the review are all mine and no one else.
Charlie and I sat down the other night and I had him read the directions to Monkeys Up to me. As he has been struggling with his reading so the more he reads the more it will help him in school. Once he read the directions I went back and reread them to make sure I knew what we would be doing.
Then we got out all of the Monkeys and placed them on the table. I asked Charlie if he would like to go first which he wanted to do. So Charlie rolled the dice and ended up with a flip so he was already a head of me. Which didn’t surprise me as he usually wins when we play games.
Then it was my turn and I ended up being able to switch a monkey which I thought was fun. But if you want to know what else happened you will have to purchase your own Monkeys Up and play it. Because when playing Monkeys Up what happens in it stays in it. That is unless your like Charlie and you win every game then the whole world will know as he shouts it from the rooftops.
Once we was done playing I had Charlie pick some of Monkeys and we used them to do some math problems with as each of them have numbers on them and we was able to make up new math problems for each of use to do. The fun thing is as Charlie gets older instead of just doing math and subtraction we can do multiplication and also division. So as you can see you can use Monkeys Up in more ways than the directions say.
It’s that time again to catch the school bus & RoosterFin <tag on social> is celebrating Back To School! Share a picture of how your family does Back To School & tag #RoosterFinGames and @RoosterFin for a chance at one of their new board games for your family.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
