New online art community Doodle Addicts helps artists to find their daily creative inspiration
A new online art community created from the ground-up to provide artists with an engaging platform to share their work has opened its virtual doors. Doodle Addicts is on a mission to help artists create art, find inspiration and share content ideas, all while building a strong sense of community.
Devoted to showcasing hand-drawn art, coloring, and doodling, Doodle Addicts was inspired by the realization that modern day distractions make it difficult for artists to lose themselves in their craft. The online community helps to keep artists immersed by providing unique drawing challenges that foster creativity, encouraging them to think differently. The site also provides quirky art prompts which encourage artists to draw regularly.

Co-Founder of Doodle Addicts, Hugo Seijas says, “Finding time to draw can be a real challenge for even the most talented of artists.” Doodle Addicts is here to help make art a part of our artists’ daily ritual. In the last two months Doodle Addicts has been quickly growing in popularity thanks to our exclusive take on drawing challenges – these prompt artists of all kinds to create something new and unique every few weeks. The drawing prompts themselves often consist of quirky themes, complemented by amazing prizes.”
Seijas and Co-Founder Rony Tako creatives in their own right, having produced adult coloring books before the trend took off in the late 2010s, are aware that creative blocks do happen, and that it’s important to continue making art even during a dry spell.
With the growing popularity of daily social media photo challenges, these quick and easy ways of finding inspiration are proving ever more valuable, with Doodle Addicts built to give creators around the world a place to share their designs free from the distractions and negativity that can often go hand in hand with social media channels.
Doodle Addicts is proving popular with amateur artists just starting out and seasoned professionals alike, and the site currently has a membership of 20,000 artists from all walks of life. The website isn’t simply a place to view exquisite indie artwork. It has a thriving online marketplace, where artists can sell their work and be commissioned for other projects.
With more people than ever seeking ways to express themselves and share their artistic pursuits, Doodle Addicts provides a timely outlet for creators to form a community, wherever they are. Doodle Addicts is currently running a series of three drawing challenges with Adobe Stock, with one lucky creative set to win the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite for one-year and a 12.9″ iPad Pro.
