Charlie surprised me this year when we were out looking for school clothes as I knew he wanted Basketball Shorts. We arrived at the store; he picked out dress shorts. French Toast contacted me to conduct a review for them. I went to there website and looked around I found quite a few shorts I knew Charlie would like along with some Dress Shoes only Charlie calls them Dancing Shoes. Once I finished watching around I could tell you “French Toast Children’s Clothes For Boys & Girls!” was the perfect place to shop for back to school clothes.
Belted Cargo Shorts come in a Boys in size 4 to 7and either blue or Navy. Charlie likes blue a lot; I picked the Navy pair for him. I thought the Belted Cargo Shorts looked like what my dad would wear and that is what Charlie mentioned when I said we needed to purchase clothes for school. Belted Cargo Shorts have pockets further down on the sides of them which Charlie likes a lot, and he thinks he can put his cars inside them, and no one would know they were inside his pockets.
Belted Cargo Shorts arrived, I asked Charlie to try them on as I wanted to see if he could button them himself which he did without a problem. Then I asked Charlie to unzip them, and he didn’t have to ask for help which was nice. I also like knowing Belted Cargo Shorts will grow with Charlie as there is a band in the back for us to make them smaller in the waist if I wanted to purchase a bigger size.
Knowing the Belted Cargo Shorts fabric is Cotton means I can wash the shorts and throw them in the dryer and not have to worry about ironing them. If we decided not to dry them, David and I could hang them up, and they wouldn’t take long to dry at all.
The next item I choose for Charlie was a Braided belt because Charlie is so tiny that most pants and shorts slip right off of him. As soon as the Braided Belt arrived, Charlie asked to try it on. I helped him, and after the first time, he didn’t need anyone to help. David and I both like we can make the Braided belt as big or as small as we want to. As there are no notches, we push it threw where we need it to go to fit Charlie. This belt will last a long time which will save us money.
David says the Braided belt looks like it is made of Leather and can be worn for dress up as well as play. Charlie uses it for both school and Church. Once some of the parents in Charlie’s school saw his Braided belt they asked where we had found. They would like to purchase belts for there children because children’s straps are hard to find.
Then I picked out a pair of track pants for Charlie. As soon as Charlie saw the track pants, he screamed and screamed I got them. I got them. Then he started dancing around as we couldn’t find any in his size last year when we were purchasing back to school clothes for Charlie. This pair fit perfectly, and he flipped out even more when he found out the legs zipped. I didn’t realize when I chose them for Charlie. I asked David what he thought of them, and he said he liked them a lot and that he would like to have a pair as well.
The track paints are so soft, and comfortable Charlie can wear them to school as well as Church. The draw string helps keep them in place as the waist is a little big but it will not take him long to grow into them. the length of the track pants is just perfect. I asked Charlie what he thought of the color as I chose the blue ones and he said they were beyond excellent.
Once Charlie went to bed David asked me if French Toast carried other track pants in Charlie’s size I said I didn’t know but that I would look. David noted okay if they do we should get Charlie a couple more pairs for Christmas. As well as another belt and shorts like I had gotten him. Which was nice because this showed me I did good.
The last thing Charlie received was the Sport Strip Socks that are low cut once they arrived Charlie tried them on and they were a tad bit big but that was my fault as I wasn’t sure what size to order. Which didn’t stop Charlie from earing them he has worn them, and he likes how soft they are. As well as how well they feel when he has them on. Charlie also likes the color and the designs on the socks. The nice thing is they also fit my sister, and I and we can borrow them when Charlie isn’t around.
I also showed them to David, and he liked how well were made. David even asked me if they had other colors as he would like to get Charlie another package in size smaller so I can have the pair I ordered for Charlie. Now I know they are boys socks but when I have my tennis shoes one no one can see them. Not that I care if they do as they are so comfortable I will wear them 24/7 if I could.
If you haven’t heard of French Toast, I hope you take the time to check them out as they also have cute clothes for the Girls in your life. They have sales which will help us all save money, and you can shop online which keeps you both time and money.
I think French Toast would make an excellent addition to this years Christmas Gift Guide on The Mommies Reviews let me know if you agree.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
