Only it was our Dogs who Broke in. As David and I had left to go work out at NRH Center. I went out before David did and he put our dogs in the yard. So I thought he had locked the door. But he must not have because when we returned the front door was wide open and Thor was inside so I knew he ha pushed on the door and came in to lay in front of the bedroom as that is where the air conditioner was on at.
But at first it scared me as well as worried me as I was afraid someone had taken something but thank God it was just the dogs. As my laptop was on the kitchen table and if they had taken it I would not have been able to work. Although I do rent it from Rent A Center so it might have been covered by insurance. But not being sure I did not want to find out.
So as I walked up onto the porch Lucy was laying in front of the door like she was guarding the house while the others went inside. Or else she knew they all would get into trouble and decided to stay outside so she did not get grounded.
Then as I came inside I found Maxx standing in the kitchen and I knew he was thinking about getting on the Dinning Room table which he has just started to do. Which irritates me and I am working hard to break him of this habit but he is not paying attention to me. So he can not come in as much as the other dogs. Which upsets Charlie as this one is his dog.
Then there is my dog Sandi and she was laying on the couch waiting on someone to turn the TV on for her as David usually leaves both it and the Air Conditioner on for them. But not this time. So I bet Sandi was surprised when she came in and found both of them turned off.
So I can not wait till Charlie comes home and we tell him what the dogs did as I know he will think it is hilarous and blame it all on Thor. Who I am sure did it. But still they all had a part in it. In the meantime all I can say is “Thank you God” as it wasn’t a real burglar. As well as thank you dogs for not tearing anything up.
