Paper Flowers!

The Mommies Reviews

Last week we made a visit to Charlie’s Grandma. She wasn’t feeling well, so we wanted to check on her and do a few chores to help her out. Charlie wanted to take her a little gift to cheer her up, so we came up with this cute and easy paper flower craft. It uses simple supplies you probably have at home and is sure to bring a smile!

These would be great to give to friends or teachers, as a cute way to let someone special know that you were thinking of them! This easy paper flower craft can be made by kids of all ages and is so easy to make, you could easily make a bouquet of pretty paper flowers in a matter of moments!

Construction Paper
Straws
Scissors
Colorful Duct Tape
Glue

Cut a sheet out of as many Flowers as you like out of paper into 8 equal strips.

Form the petals of the flowers by gluing the ends together.

Each flower should have 6 petals reserve the leftovers for a multicolored flower!

Tear off a 2″ section of duct tape. Begin arranging your petals on the duct tape to form the flower.

Place a straw in the center of the petals to form the stem.

Tear off another section of duct tape and secure the petals on the other side of the flower.

Make as many as you like! These are perfect for the kids to create and share with teachers, neighbors, grandparents and friends!

If you are in the mood for more crafts to make with the kids, you might like this cute cereal box robot idea.
