Charlie and I both liked the cover of it as it listed the date the Woodstock Music & Art Festival took place. I opened up the notebook and loved seeing the people inside it and sharing their outfits with Charlie. Charlie cracked me up when he asked me if people actually dressed like that and if they did could we.
I can see a Field Trip to our local Thrift Store to look for outfits which means this can be counted as a Field Trip and the clothes can be used in a play for Music Class. If your homeschooling like we are you need to check these journals out as they can lead to a lot of fun classes. Including Music Appreciation.
I love how the bottom of the pages has pictures or quotes as we can use these as writing prompts for our Langauge Arts classes. This notebook is also the perfect size journal to keep in the glove compartment for Charlie to track the places we visit for future lessons in Homeschool or blog post on his blog.
Another reason Charlie liked this journal so much is it comes in a Charcoal grey and he says that is the perfect color for men. Although girls would like it as well. Charlie also likes knowing it doesn’t say love it. He loved the street signs as one of them says Groovy Way. Which lead to another lesson as I had to explain to Charlie what groovy meant.
