I look for ways to make exercising fun for Charlie and me then I believe or at least hope Charlie will work out with me. While working this morning, I decided I should purchase a Jump Rope because I remembered as a child how much I enjoyed jumping rope with my friends. Even my mom would join us.
While working Tomoson sent me an email talking about a company called BuyJumpRopes.net. I plan on purchasing our jump rope from them.
God was listening to me as I was thinking and now I will not need to purchase a jump rope because Tomoson is having BuyJumpRopes.net send me a jump rope. Once the jump rope arrives I hope I’m able to get both Charlie and David to exercise with me.
It worked the jump rope arrived and they tried jumping with. I wish you could have seen David and Charlie jumping rope. David was plain hilarious as the jump rope kept catching on his work boots. Charlie just wanted to tie the dogs up with my new jump rope.
Something good did happen while we were jumping rope and that was, David and Charlie came outside and spent time together without the TV and PS 3.
To me, this meant a lot because I think families should spend more time outside. Although with the hours David works its hard for us to be able to find time together to spend outside. Even though we shouldn’t use our jump rope inside the house even on rainy days, we can work out using the jump rope because our home is a open concept.
I would like to let you know since I’ve been using my jump rope from BuyJumpRope.net that my arm doesn’t seem to hurt as much. I can move my arm more than I used to and I’ve even lost a couple of pounds. The handles on my jump rope are comfortable for me to grip. The handles do not slide through my fingers. Every day after I use the jump rope I feel so much better.
I even took my jump rope to Charlie’s school to show the PE teachers. They’ve said they will be purchasing jump ropes next year as the teachers believe these jump ropes would last longer than the ones they have. My jump rope is just the right size for both children and adults. Charlie liked that the jump rope was red which is Charlie’s favorite color.
I like knowing either a right-handed or left-handed person can use the handles on my jump rope and that you can jump by yourself or with someone else. My jump rope was long enough for two people to hold the ends and for a third person to jump rope as the other two swing it. With this jump rope, I was able to teach Charlie how to double jump together and to do a couple of other tricks. The jump rope made me feel young, and like I could do anything.
The jump rope comes in 7 different colors which would make the perfect gift for anyone. I will be getting a pink jump rope for me and a blue one for Charlie. If Leslie wants one, she can choose the color she would like. Leslie can use it when she is training for ROTC. Or just to exercise with as she wants to build up her muscles.
