As both my nieces are getting older, I decided I wanted to share items from my childhood with them. One of the things I thought about was picking up Aurora – Raggedy Ann Classic – 16″ Raggedy Ann Classic-Lg for both of them.
What I hadn’t thought about was purchasing books for them as well. I didn’t remember books about Raggedy Ann and Andy until I was in the Library the other day.
I checked out Raggedy Ann and the Birthday Surprise to share with Charlie. We both enjoyed the story a lot. Charlie took Raggedy Ann and the Birthday Surprise down to share with his grandmother. Granny Sherry enjoyed the storyline and the illustrations as much as Charlie and I did.
We started to talk about Christmas and what to get my nieces when I mentioned picking up these books for the girls with the dolls. My mother in law let me know she thought Payton would like having a Raggedy Ann Doll a lot. I called my sister to ask her about getting one Gifts for Lily, and she said this doll would be perfect for Lily as well.
