This morning for writing and spelling Charlie is going to write a story. The title of the story is “The Day A Dinosaur Came To Visit”. Without further ado I would like to share the story with you along with some fun coloring sheets you can color for art class.
The Day A Dinosaur Came To Visit my home was December the 16th my Birthday. I was playing my X Box 36 and a dinosaur knocked on my door. I opened the door to find a T Rex standing on my porch. Seeing a T Rex really surprised me especially seeing that the T Rex was orange and he roared. Then the T Rex stuck out his arm and said my name is Victor.
I just moved into the neighborhood and I am looking for a friend. I said I will be your friend and my name is Bones. Since T Rex was small enough to come inside my home, I invited Victor to come into my house while I finished my homework.
I let Victor play on my X Box 360 he thought it was a lot of fun. Then we went outside to walk down to the park. Once we finished our walk my mom made us dinner. Then T Rex had to leave to go home.
I hope he returns tomorrow. I wonder if I could keep him?
Please share this story with your students then ask them what they would do if a Dinosaur came to visit them. Would it be just one dinosaur or several and also which type of dinosaur would come to visit them. Have them draw a picture of what happened when the dinosaur arrived.
Share with us what the dinosaur would have for supper and let him help you make dinner. For math count how many different types of food the dinosaur wants to eat as well as the color of the food and the shapes of fruit he eats.
Ask the dinosaur to go outside with you for physical education and let us know what you and the dinosaur play. Because Charlie and his dinosaur played basketball and Soccer. Then they tried to ride bikes.
