Good morning, How are you this morning? I am having a Blessed morning. Although it is hard to believe it is Saturday. Before we know it Summer will be over and Charlie will be back in school.

Especially with it being the middle of July. Though I have some exciting news for you this morning. Can you guess what it is? No, you can’t guess what it is? Well all I can say is Yahoo!! We Made It To Day 15 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge!

I have actually posted most every day this time except for one day this week when we was traveling. But a friend who is also in the challenge gave me a small push and I got right back on track.

So this morning I wanted to let you know our prompt for this morning is to host  a “Have an AMA Day!” Now, I have a question for you do you know what a “AMA Day” is?

Because until I read the prompt I had no clue what it was so let me explain what a”AMA day is. It is a day where you can “ask me anything” and I will answer it for you. If I do not know the answer I will see if I can find it for you.

So why you think of the questions you would like to ask me I also have a question for you. The question is are you part of the “Ultimate Blog Challenge” if so what do you expect to happen once it is over?

How will you continue to grow your blog? Where will you find new followers? Are there other challenges you participate in? If so can you share the links to the challenge so I can check them out.

As I really want to keep growing and to do this I need help and support from the readers I have. As I would like to turn this into a blog people want to visit for the advice they need. As well as making it into a profitable business.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates

  1. Quite honestly I don’t feel there’s any strategy involved in growing your blog. Either you wing it and make it or you wing it and fail. I’ve seen several average bloggers just sail through Malik myillions of followers if not money while I’ve seen several good writers struggle with an audience. So I’d say if you really want to earn money you will have to literally cajole your friends to sign up and the nudging goes on. Then wrote to the manufacturers of the products you want to promote and badger them for ads. Then you can go to the bank and deposit your cheques.

    1. I agree with you and sometimes I have winged it and failed and other times I have winged it and it was a success. So this time around I am doing baby steps and I am going nice and slow as I plan on making it a success and not giving up no, matter what. As for checks it isn’t why I am in this. As for badgering companies I haven’t had to ever do this. As they come to me so as of now its in God’s hands and I will just keep moving on one step at a time.

  2. I only really have one question but it might come across as a bit too personal. Still if you are comfortable in answering it? No worries if you aren’t. You’ve talked about your daughter passing a couple of times this month, may I ask how? No worries if you aren’t comfortable or ready to share that.

    1. Being able to share my daughters story isn’t to personal as I don’t want any parent to go through what I went through. So if I can make a parent stop and think then that is what I would like to do. So this morning I will re-share Suzzane’s story as it has been a while since I shared it. As for asking me about her I appreciate it as it helps keep her close.

  3. I enjoy reading your blogs and especially the fun times you have with Charlie. My question is, what are Charlies favorite hobbies and does he like to write also? Maybe you can be your guest blogger some day!

    1. That is a great question and sometimes Charlie will write with me or for me. He prefers taking the pictures. Although he does have his own blog and writes about Wrestling and things we do on his site. I just need to make it public for others to see. Thank you for asking about Charlie and yes, I do try and do something fun with him everyday especially in the Summers as I want to make lots and lots of memories for him to have when he is grown as one day one of us might not be here. Charlies hobbies are Soccer and Wrestling and Swimming. As he has taught himself to swim and dive and we go a couple times a week.

  4. I am also a part of the UBC. I do not really know what I expect will happen when this is over. The biggest thing I wanted to get out of it is disciplining myself to write and post. Hoping it would make more of a habit. Long term, I don’t think daily posts are too functional for me; I am shooting for twice a week. I’m not sure of how I will grow my blog after this; I was going to look on Facebook for any other challenges and see what I could find. Stacey Stickler is doing a 100 day challenge, that I think also started on July 1st. I guess what tends to happen to me after a 30-day-something-or-other is that I complete that and stop. Because I need to keep going and having a continuous goal. So, my question for you is–what are you going to do once this is over? What are you wanting to get out of this challenge?

    1. Like you I wanted to become more disciplined and to write on a regular basis so as not to confuse my readers. So if I can do that no, matter once a day or once a week I just need to make sure I do it. As for Stacy Stickler challenge I will google her as I haven’t heard of her before. Also I wanted to make new friends through the challenge which I believe I did and blogs I can begin to follow as I want to become better as commenting and supporting others and through this challenge I can see that happening and helping me.

    1. That is the $100 dollar question although I have seen people do it. Although I have came to the conclusion I am going to just right for myself and my family and what happens happens. As it is all in Gods hands and if I fully rely on him he will show me his wishes in his own time. So I just need to be patient and do what I love as well as what is right for my family.
