God morning, How are you this morning? As we begin a new week I wanted to come and share Day Ten of the Ultimate Blog Challenge! This morning our prop is to create a list and share it with our readers.
As I thought about this this morning the first thing I had to figure out was if I wanted to do a Top 1 list, Top 5 or Top 100 list. As the sky is the limit with this challenge.
So as I sat her and Prayed and worked on the to do list of things I needed to do this morning. I couldn’t figure out what type of list I wanted to put together. So I made me a cup of coffee then went out for a walk.
After Praying for things to work out this week I decided that I would just do a Top 5 List of things I am grateful for this week. Then I would like to ask you what 5 things are you grateful for this week?
Top 5 things I am Grateful for:
- God because without him none of us would be here.
- My family not just Charlie and David but my sister and brother. As well as my dad. I am grateful I am actually getting to go and see him this week.
- David’s family and the support and unconditional love they give me. As well as accepting me into there family when David and I was married. I am grateful fr David’s parents. As my mom is gone and Davids mom has not taken her place. But helped with things I couldn’t ask my mom. As well as David’s dad as mine is far away so when I have things wrong in my home he helps me fix them. Or keeps my bike running so I can play with Charlie.
- My dog Sandi as she gives me unconditional love every day and when I am missing Suzzane hugging her makes my day just a little more bearable. David got her for me back in 2006 so I have had her longer than Charlie has been alive and I know one day she will not be here and I am going to miss her more than life itself.
- Old friends who God is bringing back int my life. As I have been best friends with Debbie Sutton. We have none each other since second grade. Debbie helped me plan my Wedding to David. But we had a falling out. Although we have talked a few times in the past.
We struggled with our friendship but was able to get past ut differences this weekend. My family and Debbie will be going out to dinner on Thursday. As well as going downtown to watch Grease. I am so excited to see Debbie and have her meet Charlie.
My question this morning for you is what are you grateful for? If you was going to do a list would it be a top 5 list? Top 10? Or even a Top 10 list? Also come share what your doing this week.

Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
Love your list.
Too many take too much for granted. And, then are disappointed with their lives.
I agree with you and I have been one to do that as well. Although I am trying to stop it. Have a Blessed day.
Couldn’t write a better list! Mine is God, family, health, thankful for work and health as good as it can be.
Your welcome and yes, my health isn’t the best either but it could be worse. So I am just grateful I am here and I thank the Lord for the things I can do. As for work its still a work in progress but at least I have it as so many people don’t have jobs. Have a Blessed weekend.
Family is everything! Regardless of how dysfunctional our families are, they make us who we are. I hope you can work out your differences and become closer. Thank you for sharing!
I Pray we can as well especially with me mom being gone. Have a Blessed day.
