Sometimes God Brings People Into Our Lives

This week we decided to go ahead and purchase our trailer. So our landlord brought out a gentleman to fix the fence and also rebuild our deck. So I walked outside to see what they would be doing.

As I did I almost dropped to my knees when I looked into the young mans face. As I just knew it was a Ghost from the past. Coming back to haunt me for some reason.

Now, I had seen this same person on some of my friends timelines and knew who he was but never dreamed he would end up in my yard. Especially not rebuilding parts of my home.

Once again God knew what he was doing as this young man is the son of a friend of mine. Or at least I thought he was but wasn’t sure. So I reached out to her to ask what her son was doing now.

She left me know she hadn’t spoken to him in 2 1/2 years and thought he was working in Houston. So I was able to let her know as soon as I found out it was actually him I would let her know.

Today I got that answer as this young man came out to measure the fence and on his shirt was his name. As well as a Tattoo on his arm with his sons name. Which his mom had told me about.

Then when I texted my friend to let her know he had been to her mothers to  have her watch his son and she also had gotten a invitation to her grandsons Birthday. So I know God has plans for this family that we didn’t even know about.

So now I would like to tell you a tidbit about this young man and my daughter Suzzane they grew up together. Just like his mom and I did. As she and I have known each other since kindergarten. In fact Suzzane used to work for his grandmother and his grandfather built Suzzane’s Hope Chest.

So even if he doesn’t acknowledge me or speak to me I know who he is and I love him and appreciate all he is doing to make our house into a home for Charlie and I.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
