Last night since David was off this morning we decided to go and see #Cars3. So we researched theaters and decided we would go to @CoyotteDriveIn Which is Charlies favorite place to watch movies as.
Although I wanted to go to Movie Tavern as we only see one movie at a time and they start earlier. Also it doesn’t hurt my back as bad as it does to sit in a car. Although Aiden was with us and it would be his first time in a Drive In so off we went.
Once we arrived at Coyote Drive In Charlie and David took off for the playground. As Charlie loves climbing on the rocks. Then David headed to the concession stand to purchase a box of popcorn for me and a beer for himself. Although he didn’t get one as he decided they was to high. Which totally amazed me as usually price isn’t a issue when it comes to David purchasing a beer.
Then back to the car we went where David and I watched Cars 3 from and the boys went up to the Front of the Drive In where there are chairs and watched the movie from there. The nice part was I could see them from the car and didn’t need to worry about them.
Once Cars 3 begin David and I worried as it was heard to see as the screen was all white. Although finally it got a bit darker and we could see the movie. So as we watched it I became more and more intrigues and excited by Cars 3.
I laughed and I cried and I also found myself jumping out of my seat during parts of Cars 3. I think this is my favorite Cars movie ever. As I loved the story line as well as the music they played in the story.
I feel in love with all the cars again and I liked how they brought old characters together with new ones. I can’t wait to see if there is another Cars as I want to see what will happen in it.
Once Cars 3 was over we had a chance to also watch Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tel No Tales as David wanted to see it. Although we only stayed for the first hour as the movie was to dark and we couldn’t tell what was happening in the movie.
So I will be taking David to another theater to watch it. Although our time at Coyote Drive In was a lot of fun for the boys this is the second time we have been there and the movies was to dark to see. So twice we have wasted our money so I am not sure we will be returning.
Although when Coyote Drive In had first opened up we didn’t have these problems and could always see the movies I wanted to watch. So I have a question for you today why do you think the movies are to dark now and why can’t we see the movies?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
