March is Brain Injury Awareness Month

As a mom we never think there will be a day when our children aren’t with us. Which happened to me on November 28th, 2004. I received a phone call that Suzzane had been hit by a car. Which is why I wanted to let you know March is Brain Injury Awareness Month.

I still remember asking Amanda how bad it was and her saying it was bad. So as I pull up to the accident scene and the ambulance is getting ready to drive off. I climb on the back of it to get inside to see my daughter.

Although they will not allow me in there with her. So I can still fill my sister pulling me off the ambulance and saying we will go to the hospital. Lets get back into the car now.

So as we did something makes me turn my head and Amanda is standing there crying. So I get out of the car and ask if she would like to come with us. She says Please I need to be there with her.

So as we arrive at the hospital and I beg them to let me see Suzzane I never dreamed she had died from brain trauma to the head. So if you haven’t ever faced something like this I Pray you never do.

Although if you do like JJ Virgin you will have to forgive as Forgiveness Will Set You Free. Although I can not honestly say I have forgiven the gentleman that hit Suzzane although I have tried time and time again.

MIRACLE MINDSET: A Mother, Her Son, and Life’s Hardest Lessons

I’m writing to introduce you to a new book and Author. The book is called MIRACLE MINDSET: A Mother, Her Son, and Life’s Hardest Lessons. This new book is written  by celebrity health expert and bestselling author JJ Virgin.

JJ is the internationally known author of 4 bestselling diet and health cookbooks. Working with Hollywood A-listers and everyday people alike she has built a blockbuster health and wellness empire on stamina, intuition, and determination.

Although  it wasn’t until 2012 as she stood by her dying son while the doctors told her to “let him go” that she realized how powerful those traits were and that from that moment on every decision she made, minute-by-minute, was all or nothing.

In this riveting – and incredibly personal – account, JJ opens her heart to her readers and shares the story of her sixteen-year-old son who was left for dead by a hit-and-run driver and how, consumed by rage and hopelessness, she made the decision to trust her heart, defy the odds, choose forgiveness, and fight for his life.

She ran her business from his bedside while tirelessly nursing him back to health and into the thriving young man he is today. This much more than a page-turning memoir with a happy ending.

MIRACLE MINDSET is JJ’s guide to the invaluable lessons she learned, how her life changed to become an advocate for those living with a brain injury, and how her readers can also overcome the seemingly impossible. Her

“Miracle Mindset” transformation is based on the lessons she learned along the way such as: Don’t Wish It Were Easier—Make Yourself Stronger, Little Hinges Swing Big Doors, and Forgiveness Will Set You Free.
