I would like to bring you a new Homeschool Resource Shoutout: Katie from Sprout Classrooms. I like knowing Sprout Classroom’s tagline is helping you grow your classroom!
When I was Homeschooling Charlie full time I needed all the help I could get. I would like to let you know even though Charlie is in Public School full time now, I still use these resources to help Charlie on subjects he struggles with.
Charlie has taken it upon himself to teach me things he doesn’t think I know and should know. The first thing Charlie will be teaching me is Place Values so while on the website I found Classroom Place Value Display {FREEBIE!!} which Charlie and I will be using this week.
Have you taught your children Place Value? If so what resources did you use? Or do you have tips you can share with Charlie when he is teaching me?
About:
Mrs. Uppman is the Baroness of Time Travel, Duchess of Space Exploration, Countess of Mad Sciencetry, and Ultimate Tour Guide of the Human Body. She received her high school degree from Whitmore Lake High School in the year 2000 and graduated five years later from the University of Michigan with a degree in Education (major: Science, minor: Language Arts).
She loves to paint and color, create elaborate bulletin boards and fix up old furniture to use in the classroom. If she’s not careful, Mrs. Uppman may one day find herself sailing off into the sunset on a pirate ship, as she has a deep fascination for the eye-patch wearing gang and a pirate t-shirt collection to prove it.
Her realclassroomideas.com website has received over 2.6 million views as of April 2014.
She has served over 1100 teachers through Sprout Classrooms as of April 2014.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
