Welcome to Day #4 Celebrating 20 Years of Christmas Cheer! on @Freeform. I hope with it being Sunday that you sit down and watch some @Christmas Movies with your family.
Charlie and I plan on sitting down this evening and watching some of the movies. David is working and we aren’t sure when he will be home. BOO. But that is okay as it gives Charlie and I one on one time together.
Celebrating 20 Years of Christmas Cheer! programming will begin on Thursday, December 1st! While the home of 25 days of holiday-themed programming has a new name, the network still has all of the same jolly movies that Christmas fans love, including “Elf,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” “The Santa Clause,” “The Polar Express” and much more.

7:00 am – ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (1974)
Movie Summary
When a town learns that Santa Claus has struck it off his delivery schedule due to an insulting letter, a way must be found to change his mind.
7:30 am – Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey
Movie Summary
The wondrous story of Christ’s birth is told by an unlikely source: Nestor, a gentle donkey with incredibly long ears and a first-hand knowledge of life in a stable.
This simple tale, which takes place in the days of the Roman Empire, is about a humble couple about to make a long journey to Bethlehem and a small, insignificant Donkey that is destined to help them along.
By all outward appearances, Nestor does not deserve such a privilege. Stable animals tease him incessantly for his long appendages until, finally, Nester is cast out of the barn into the winter cold.
Snow and ice bring about even greater calamity for Nestor until he receives a dose of divine goodness. Nestor meets Tilly, a heavenly cherub (voiced by Brenda Vaccaro) who imparts guidance to the despairing burro and tells him that soon he will be chosen to participate in a miracle involving a star, a baby, a lowly stable, and some travelers named Mary and Joseph.
8:00 am – Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish
Movie Summary
After getting blamed for spoiling Christmas, the richest kid in the world wishes he’d never been born. Unfortunately, the wishing machine, invented by professor Keenbean, picked up the wish and made it come true. Now Richie finds himself in a parallel world where his only hope is to see professor Keenbean so he can wish things back to normal.
10:05 am – Rudolph & Frosty’s Christmas in July
12:10 pm – I’ll Be Home for Christmas (1998)
If a jokester makes it home by a particular time, his dad’s car is his.
2:20 pm – Arthur Christmas (2011)
On Christmas night at the North Pole, Santa’s youngest son looks to use his father’s high-tech operation for an urgent mission.
4:30 pm – Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town
5:35 pm – The Year Without a Santa Claus
Movie Summary
At the North Pole, the Christmas rush is on. Everyone from elves to reindeer is merrily preparing for Santa Claus’s yearly sleigh ride. Everyone except Santa! Feeling forgotten by the children of the world, old St. Nick decides to skip his gift-giving journey and take a vacation. Eager to help, Mrs. Claus and two spunky little elves set out to see to where all the season’s cheer has disappeared. Aided by a magical snowfall, they reawaken the spirit of Christmas in children’s hearts.
Elf (2003)
Movie Summary
A young orphan child mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts on Christmas Eve and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later, Buddy learns he is not an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity.
Disaster-prone dad discovers just how dangerous the Christmas season is, as the Griswolds’ old-fashioned holiday celebration turns out to be more “Bah! Humbug!” than Christmas cheer.
