Parker Charlie’s

I would like to introduce you to another American Legion Vendor Parker Charlie’s. Once I heard the name of this company, there was no, the way I couldn’t take Linda. For a couple of reasons and one of them is part of the name of her company is “CHARLIE. With my son being a “CHARLIE” I knew I wanted to invite her  to come showcase her business.

13" Metal Basket

This was before I knew she was a friend of Darrell Lofton who a member of the American Legion who will be showcasing his woodworking at  Benefit Craft Fair. Linda helps Darrell in his booth with the customers he gets. I emailed Linda back and asked her to join us.

Linda was kind enough to send me the link to her website so I could take a loo. As soon as I did, I was hooked because there is a  basket made like a Rooster that would have been perfect for my mom if she were still here. As well as some cows which my mom collected.

Now let me tell you a funny story from when I was growing up. My mother purchased every cow figurine she could find. One day my dad told her if she bought anymore cow figurines that he was going to buy a real cow and place it in our living room. Being kids my sister and brother and I thought our dad really meant it. We purchased all the cows we could find and afford and gave them to my mom. Then we asked my dad when he was bringing the cow home. He said are you kidding I am not buying a cow.

Kids when adults say things they don’t always mean what they say. As my sister, brother and I learned this the hard way. But it was fun seeing our mom smile when she got all those cows.

Today I would like to invite you out to the American Legion Benefit Craft Show to meet our newest American Legion Vendor. If your not in DFW you can check out Linda’s website and order online and have the items shipped to you.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
