The Center for Home Educations new Classes and one of them is one I would like to check. The class is called Foundation Station 11. Foundation Station is for 2nd and 3rd graders.
Which I hope is a class I can afford for Charlie to take. The only other thing I am afraid of is that I will not have a way to get Charlie back and forth from the class. I am hoping if we sign Charlie up that we will find a friend he can carpool. The Center is only about 20 minutes from us.
If you’re in Dallas/ Fort Worth, I would like to invite you to check out The Center for Home Education, and it is in Watauga, Texas. As for me, I haven’t been to the center yet, but I am excited to check it out. And the store they have as well as I still need a few items for Charlie for school.
Shelly Chadwick teaches Foundation Station 11 which will allow our children to set off on an enjoyable and interactive learning experience.
Foundation Station classes are a 2 1/2 hour class, and they will meet twice a week for 32 weeks and cover the foundational skills of reading, writing & math through active learning with there peers.
I like knowing select themes will direct there learning, bringing continuity to the classroom experience and opportunities to engage children with all learning styles.
Another aspect of this class that I like is that there will be Homework. So I can always make sure Charlie is getting enough lessons for math and reading. And I also want knowing the Center will offer other classes Charlie can take, and they even put on plays we can attend.
If you would like to check into Foundation Station 11 class here is what included:
