Charlie started his newest project for Homeschool Science class. Charlie and I plan on growing a Grow A Pizza Garden. We went to Home Depot this weekend and picked out the items we wanted in our Garden. Since we plan on growing a Pizza Garden, I thought a Salad would go nicely with our garden. Charlie and I picked out the items we wanted to grow in a salad. Come and join us and watch as Charlie starts his project today. We would like to invite you to join us and make your own Garden.
Once Charlie woke up David and I helped Charlie plant his seeds and talked about Growing A Pizza Garden and how to take care of the seeds. Then we discussed why I chose the items I decided for the Garden. Charlie explained how the items we was growing would go into the Pizza we would makealong with the Salad as Herbs would give the Salad a new and different taste.
When we was picking out the items for our Garden Charlie surprised me when he said he would like to have a Cactus. When we were at Home Depot. David and I let Charlie pick out a Cactus he liked and now we have a new plant to watch and nurture this week for Plant week.
Charlie wants to get more Cactus to add to his Garden. Then Charlie and I discussed Plants and what you could and couldn’t eat. I even discussed with Charlie that people do eat Cactus. I explained to Charlie I wasn’t sure if the Cactus Charlie purchased is one we can eat. Although we can look this Cactus up and see if we can eat it and if so how to fix the Cactus. If we do find out how to cook the Cactus and this is one we can eat I am not sure I want to.

Now that I know Charlie wants to do more Gardening I found this Garden Wagon & Tools with 8 Gardening Tools, 4 Pots, Water Pail, and Spray that I want to get Charlie so we can continue to build our garden and even start a flower garden outside.
