I wanted to say good morning and welcome to the Ultimate Blog Challenge: January 9th, 2025. Yes, I am still a day late but it’s okay. David and Charlie were home yesterday and we had the first #SNOW and what might be the only Snow of the year fall yesterday in Fort Worth, Texas.
With David being home I decided to take a PTO day because when you work for yourself Charlie says you should get sick days even though you will not be paid for them. David went to the store and purchased the ingredients so we could make Velvetta Potato Cheese Bacon Soup.
We spent the rest of the day camped out on the couch watching movies with me using my heating pad because my knee was throbbing hiding under my blanket David bought me last year. I’ve decided the next time I go to Walmart I’ve going to pick up a Heated Throw. Would you like one?
Today is going to be a day dedicated to catching on work while David is at work. Then for dinner this evening where going to make Fried Eggs and Bacon with Mayo and Mustard on Light Bread as I call it or White Bread as a lot of people call it. This was my dad’s favorite Sandwich.
Then we will spend time together watching a couple movies together because he has to go to bed for work tomorrow. I plan on sitting down and reading Danielle Steel’s book Trial By Fire a book I purchased myself for Christmas.
Would you like to bring your favorite book over to read with me this evening. I will have David stop by the store and pick up a beverage and a dessert for us. What would you like to have? I will have Apple Pie with Whipped Cream or Cool Whip and a glass of Milk.
