Last night David and I stopped by Ollies to see if they had a book I had been planning on purchasing during Christmas. While there I found two new books I wanted to purchase including a book called Box of Butterflies: Discovering the Unexpected Blessings All Around Us by Roma Downey (Author). I grew up watching Roma Downey on TV in Touched By a Angel with my grandmother Dorie. She wouldn’t miss this show no, matter what might be going on. Having this book is like having a piece of my grandmother back.
I know my friend Debbie Finney Sutton and my sister Deborah is going to want there own copy of the book because Butterflies also have a special place in there hearts and will allow them to have there loved ones close by,
I love how the book is broken down into chapters including strength, kindness, courage, love, stillness, gratitude and home. Inside the book is very pretty flowers that will calm us. I like how there is a Butterfly on the top of each chapter.
I could spend hours thumbing through the book looking at the illustrations. I loved how she reminds us to give thanks and throughout the book she shares Bible Verses with us I can’t wait to share with David and Charlie.
