Charlie and I was talking the other morning when I asked if Charlie would go get the mail for me. Charlie said he would but didn’t understand why he never got any mail. I asked if he wrote to anyone and Charlie said no. Then I reminded Charlie that his grandparents live out of State and would love getting a letter from him and that I bet they would write back to Charlie.
Charlie said he wouldn’t mind writing to his grandfather although he would like to have someone his own age to share things with. As I thought about what Charlie said and how I always hate always saying no, there isn’t any mail for you this morning. Or here is some ads you can have.
As I thought about that I knew Charlie would like to have Penpals his age. Since I do childrens reviews I have those packages made out to Charlie. But to Charlie that isn’t mail it is work as he knows we will have to review the items that come in the mail. This morning I would like to know if you have children Charlie’s age that would be interested in a Penpal?
I set up the Stop! Drop! & Read! challenge a friend left me a comment. She asked if Charlie would like a penpal and as soon as I saw here comment I knew Charlie would want me to say yes. Once again God knew my needs and answered my Prayers as a penpal for Charlie had been something I had been praying about. I would like to let you know I would like to have a couple more penpals for Charlie.
If you have children around 8 years old and they would like to get there own mail as well leave me a comment. I will send you the details because my friend and I have discussed how we can do things not only through the mail but together through the phone. I believe for my family this would be a lot of fun to have your children join us.
] I can tell you as a mom I would like to get some mail as well because it gets lonely being with Charlie being gone all day. There isn’t anyone for me to talk to. If you would be open to a penpal as well leave me a comment below. I am looking for people that would like to lose weight or who likes to read. Because we could set up a Book Club. Or parents who homeschool their children and would like to exchange items through the mail about the States we live in the kids can use in school.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
