#ChristmasDFW
Christmas is right around the corner and everywhere we look there is Christmas Events popping up. As Charlie gets older there is so many events we haven’t had the opportunity to check out. I’ve been making notes of what I would like to do and as I created my list I thought you might want to check out these events with your family as well.
I thought today we could start with Events happening in the Fort Worth Stockyards. If Charlie and I were still #Homeschooling full time we would have used these events as #FieldTrips because there will be a lot of teaching moments.
In the Stockyards there is so much #History to do not only during Christmas but year round. Take the time to have dinner at Riscky’s Steakhouse and ask them about the Safe in there restaurant. Then visit Billy Bobs to check out who all has played there. Take a walking tour through the Town and watch a Cattle Drive. and visit the John Wayne An American Experience Museum and ride the Train.
23rd Annual Christmas in the Stockyards
A holiday celebration that’s bigger and brighter than ever before! Ring in the holidays at the 23rd Annual Christmas in the Stockyards, featuring festive activities such as our holiday ice rink, sounds of the season, photos with Cowboy Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, Reindeer games, a matinee rodeo, the Ultimate Bull Fighters World Finals and a spectacular Christmas Parade! Events will take place between 11AM to 8PM throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.
Holiday Celebration Parade
The Stockyards District is proud to continue the Christmas parade tradition as part of our annual holiday festivities! Riding clubs, horse-drawn wagons, trucks, antique automobiles, marching units or bands, girl scouts, boy scouts – you name it, we want you to be a part of the fun!
