November 3rd National Housewife Day #HousewifeDay and if your a #Housewif you should celebrate National Housewife Day with a special treat today and make Housewife Day a day of self-care and relaxation with spa treatments, bubble baths, and more!

I just wish my mom were here to celebrate #HousewifeDay with me because she was one of the hardest working mom’s I know although she has passed away. I was thinking I could get a Gift Card for David’s mom and sit with David Sr. so she could get her nails done because she is a housewife as well.

I mentioned what I wanted to do to David Charlie overhead me and said mom your a housewife to. I will make #dinner this evening and you can go with Granny to get your nails done and while there celebrate your Birthday this week. Would you like to come with us?

I would like to ask you to take the time to celebrate National Housewife Day on November 3rd and honor the hardworking women who keep households running smoothly! National Housewife Day was created in the 1950s to recognize stay-at-home moms.

National Housewife Day has evolved over time to celebrate all types of housewives from those with a career outside of their home to single mothers managing both work and family life. National Housewife Day is a chance for us to show our appreciation for these incredible individuals who have dedicated themselves to creating stable homes!

Housewife Day recognizes the importance of stay-at-home wives and moms. National Housewife Day is also referred to as “Retro” Housewife Day. These wonderful, caring creatures, build and enrich strong family environments. They help to instill family values and good character. Today, we celebrate and thank all of the ladies who choose to stay home and tend to the house and family! 

Housewife is an old term which hails back to the days when one income could support the family in a manner of comfort. It was also a time when women did not have equal rights. While these days are long gone, women’s views of working or staying at home, fall on both sides of the fence. The decision to be a “housewife”, or stay-at-home mom, is still preferred by many. Unfortunately, income needs often necessitate going to work.

How to Celebrate Housewife Day

Celebrate National Housewife Day, by honoring wives you know and thanking them for staying home with there family during the child-rearing years. Because children grew up much better for it and spouses benefit from the many sacrifices wives made by staying home. Housewives should kick back and enjoy the pampering that you receive today. You truly earned it.

How to Celebrate National Housewife Day

1: Honour your housewife skills and take some time to reflect on the skills you have developed as a housewife. take the opportunity today to make a list of what you have achieved and take pride in the knowledge that you can do it all.

2: Reward yourself with something special like a spa day, shopping spree or an afternoon at the movies. You deserve it for all the hard work you do! Or just grab your favorite snack and beverage and grab your book or movie and veg on the couch all day.

3: Invite your family and friends over for dinner and ask everyone to bring their favorite dish and there favorite beverage to share with everyone which is a great way to celebrate National Housewife Day with the people you love.

4: If you have the means today take the opportunity to share your tips through a blog post or tips on social media about how to be an efficient housewife because it’s always good to pass on knowledge and inspire others.

5: Host a party at home and invite your friends over for an evening of fun, food, and drinks. Playing board games, watching movies, or Classic TV Shows with famous moms like the Cosby Show or All In The Family or you take the time to just catch up with each other which are great ways to celebrate.

Why We Love National Housewife Day

A: Housewives are an integral part of the family unit, and housewives provide stability, comfort and security for children and partners alike. Housewives are often the glue that holds the family together, even in difficult times, and deserve to be celebrated and thanked for their dedication.

B Though housekeeping typically is the main duty of a housewife, their roles often extend far beyond traditional chores and housewives often take on extra responsibilities including cooking meals, planning family events, managing important documents and keeping up with finances – just to name a few task they do.

C: Given all the things housewives do for their families, it’s no wonder that happy homes require a lot of hard work! Also, Housewives help create a sense of order and routine which makes everyone feel secure in their home environment. This sense of support is ultimately what helps families thrive and grow stronger.
