I thought you might be interested in learning about #Reptiles then you and your friends and family can celebrate October 21st which Reptile Awareness Day #ReptileAwarenessDay. Just remember I will go with you to the Zoo for the kids to see Reptiles in person but I refuse to go inside the #Snake house. How about you?

Monday:
Write your Spelling words inside your Spelling Journal in ABC order 5 times each.
Tuesday:
Write your Spelling Words in your Spelling Journal and include a definition for each word.
Wednesday:
Write a Story using your Spelling words and include a description and picture for your story which will be read out loud to your parents.
Thursday:
Take a Pre-Spelling Test if you miss any of the words write them 5 time each in your Spelling Journal.
Friday:
If you missed any of your Spelling Words on your pre-test re-take the Spelling Test. If you made a 100 after patting yourself on the back do something fun today related to Reptiles. Include a description of what you did and who with in your Spelling Journal. Include a photo of your adventures.
Reading:
Have your children read National Geographic Kids Everything Reptiles: Snap Up All the Photos, Facts, and Fun or they can pick out there own book on Reptiles at the Library for a fun Field Trip.
Monday through Thursday have them write down two facts they learned from reading for 30 minutes a day in there Reading Journal.
On Friday turn the facts into a report they will read out loud to you. Have them include a Photo for there Story and also take a picture of them reading there report to add to there Reading Journal.
Math Class:
Have your children look up facts based on Reptiles which can be turned into Math problems.
Have them pick someone in there home to work out 5 math problems they create.
Then let that person create 5 math problems for your student to work out.
Have them write the Math problems inside there Math notebook.
Drama Class:
Watch a movie about Reptiles or read a book about Reptiles and act out what you learned for your parents.
Include a description and photo of your performance inside your Drama Journal.
Visit a Resale Store or Costume Shop to dress up like the Retile your teaching your parents about.
Music Class:
Look up songs that mention Reptiles or write a song about a Reptile that will be performed for your parents.
Write the Lyrics to the song inside your Music Journal and include a photo of your performance.
Art Class:
Create a piece of Art about Reptiles using all the information you collected. In your Art Journal include a description of your Art Work and a photo of your Art which will be displayed at the Art Show you will be hosting at the end of the year.
Cooking Class:
Most Reptiles like a lot of Vegetables and Green Food in there Diets. Have your students visit a Produce Store or Grocery Store to pick up items a Reptile might eat and create a dish for your dinner this evening.
Take pictures of your Field Trip to add to your cooking journal and write the recipe with a picture of the Dish include your Cooking Journal which will be turned into a Cookbook at the end of the year.
