I sat down this morning to work but I had Knight Owl and Baby Bird sitting on my desk and the cover kept drawing me in. Before I knew what was happening I stopped work and started to rhumb through the story.
Before I share my thoughts with you I wanted to let you know you should see the cover with blues and yellows. The Owl is wearing a night Owl and you should see his eyes looking at the baby Bird who has a pack like a Hobo would carry thrown over his back. In the background we can see part of a Castel. I would have liked to visit. Would you like to go with me?
Early Bird thinks Knight Owl is the greatest and she wants to be brave like him and protect the castle. Knight Owl thinks Baby Bird is too noisy and chatty. What will it take for them to become friends? To find out you will need to pick up a copy of Knight Owl and Early Bird.
Early Bird ask so may questions Knight Owl can’t sleep but its because Baby Bird is excited and wants to learn what Knight Owl does and questions as we all know leads to knowledge. he funny part is some of the questions Baby Bird asked like what is your cape for” is questions I would have asked as well.
Knight Owl tells baby Bird he can’t teach him right now because he is to tired. baby Birds finds things to keep herself busy all day long. That afternoon Knight Owl and Baby Bird went to work but before the Sun set baby Bird feel asleep.
The next morning Baby Bird tries to wake Knight Owl who rolls over and goes to sleep instead of going on a adventure with Baby Bird. baby Birds stays busy and that night Owl kept the castle safe. The next morning baby Bird once again tries to get Knight Owls attention.
Can you guess what happens this time? If not you will need to pick up a copy of Knight Owl And Early Bird because I’m not going to tell you. baby Bird goes away and Knight Owl gets worried and sets off to find her.
Knight Owl hears a noise but it doesn’t sound like baby Bird. What was it? I’m not telling you need to read the story to find out. There is a Rescue Mission but who save who and who did they protect them from? I’m not telling you have to read the book to find out.
