Glow Up and Ride: Twilight Bicycle Adventure at Toledo Zoo

TOLEDO, Ohio, September 10, 2024 – The Toledo Zoo invites cyclists of all ages to Toledo Zoo Zoom Glow Roll, a unique, twilight bicycle adventure on Sunday, Sept. 29. This family-friendly event offers a chance to ride under the stars with two different cycling experiences: a one-mile ride for kids on Zoo grounds and an eight-mile “slow roll” through the scenic River Road.

Event Schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. Kids Ride (ages 3+)
  • 7:00 p.m. Adults & 12+ Ride

Riders will begin at the Toledo Zoo and travel south on River Road, with a scenic route that loops back for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the Zoo, before concluding at the lively Main Plaza.

Special After-Ride Activities:

  • Food and beverage specials
  • Live music around cozy fire pits
  • Encounters with nocturnal animals and flashlight fish in the aquarium
  • A sneak peek at the Harvest Fest pumpkin displays

The twilight treks are led by the Toledo Zoo’s security team on bicycles, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. A support vehicle will also follow the riders.

Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just looking for a fun family night out, this glowing ride promises a magical evening of fitness, fun, and wildlife.
