September 8 National Hug Your Hound Day #HugYourHoundDay

The Mommies Reviews

September 8th is National Hug Your Hound Day #HugYourHoundDay which I am excited about because it allows me to shower even more LOVE on Pheobie and for Charlie to hug Bear. But it’s also a sad day because Annie is still at David’s Uncle’s so even though David loves Pheobie and bear he misses Annie a lot.

I wish David was off today and we could have visited Uncle Don and Aunt Barbara and seen Annie but that isn’t possible today but since were picking up Charlie’s friend Mykalia Thursday I know Charlie would like to show her Annie so I think I will ask David if we can go see them this weekend. Would you like to go with us to meet Annie?

National Hug Your Hound Day is celebrated on the Second Sunday in September, falling on September 8th this year, to honor man’s best friend our dogs. Dogs have been standing loyally by our side since the dawn of time.

Dogs might even have been the very first animals to have been domesticated and felt affection for humans. Dogs have a solid reputation of being warm and loving companions, loyal workers, and trustworthy defenders of the homes they live in.

Hug Your Hound Day is a gentle reminder that our four-legged friends deserve our love and attention. National hug Your Hound Day encourages pet owners to renew their bond with their dogs and show there dogs that they are indeed your best friend.

National Hug Your Hound Day was started by Ami Moore, the “Dog Whisperer of Chicago.” Ami Moore created National Hug Your Hound Day to celebrate the long and lasting bond between a dog and its owner.

Ami Moore is best known for her exceptional qualifications that have led to her being one of the world’s most famous dog experts. Ami Moore was trained as a Native American Medicine Woman, and her expertise has been testified by a series of degrees and honors.

Ami Moore works with the singular purpose of increasing the health and happiness of Canines all over the world. Along with medical and behavioral help, Ami Moore aims to achieve that through Hug Your Hound Day celebrations.

Ami Moore has a long history of working in canine behavior and problem-solving and she’s best known for pioneering the concept of positive reinforcement using electronic dog training equipment to encourage a dog’s natural drive to follow a strong leader. Through the development and use of her techniques, Ami has helped better the rowdy behaviors in dogs all over the world, creating a better relationship between them and their owners.

Some of the issues that Ami has successfully treated are a dog’s tendency of destroying furniture, jumping on guests, experiencing separation anxiety, and socializing dogs so they’re no longer aggressive to people and other dogs.

Needless to say, Ami Moore expertise has made the world a better and safer place for dogs and dog lovers. Hug Your Hound Day is about bettering your relationship with your pet by learning humane techniques and being patient with your dogs during their learning period
