When I was Homeschooling Charlie full time we could have used Yoga for Better Balance: Improve Balance in our #Homeschool PE Class and also our Health Class because as a family we could have done the exercises in the book. When using this book the Author suggests we read through the book before we start using it in our home we read through it as a family.

I liked taking the balance test which reminded me I was out of balance. and she helps us with our balance. I like how the Author gives us a supply list of what we need which gave my family a chance to spend time together when we went shopping for the supplies she suggest were going to need.

Having the pictures in the book showed us what to do and how to do the things she is asking us to do. Having this book has helped me see that I can do the exercises I need to do to lose weight and Yoga for Better Balance: Improve Balance has also helped me not only get in touch with my own life but for my family as well. I hope you take the time to check out this new book with everyone you know and that you take the time to share it with your friends and family.

About the book:

Maintaining and improving physical balance throughout your lifespan is critical for sustaining independence, confidence, mobility, overall well-being, and perhaps most importantly for avoiding falls—which all too often lead to life-altering or life-ending outcomes. According to the CDC, over 800,000 people a year are hospitalized due to a fall, and numbers go up every year.

Known for its countless benefits, yoga is exceptional for cultivating balance along with agility, strength, confidence, and vitality. “Yoga for Better Balance” is a comprehensive guide for practicing yoga postures that specifically improve balance. With step-by-step instructions and accompanying photos, you’ll be able to easily integrate these poses into your daily routine. Options are provided for beginners as well as experienced yogis.

A special feature of this book is a self-test to identify areas where your balance may be compromised— providing valuable insights into places that need attention and guiding you toward a tailored yoga practice.
