About the book:

In the book children learn about Ida B. Wells who grew up during the time women couldn’t vote. but Ida fought for equality no, matter the race or gender of the people involved. This made Ida B. Wells one of the most influential Civil Rights leaders in AMerican History. In the book we learn about the Women’s March of 1913.

The illustrations are captivating and the story is perfect not only for children in 6th grade and above but adults as well. We learn she lived in Mississippi a State Charlie and I will be studying this year. In the back of the book is a Timeline Charlie and I liked following and I hope you share it with your children.
