NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 26, 2024) – Country music icon Clay Walker announced today that his new song titled “I Know She Hung The Moon,” will be out next Friday, April 5. The touching country tune was penned by the late Toby Keith and Scotty Emerick. Toby first shared the song with Clay at the Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic in 2021. Clay was immediately captivated. Clay resonated with the lyrics that echoed the love he has for his wife which has always been a cherished theme in his own music. Clay recorded the country ballad in December and with Toby’s recent passing he hopes to honor his legacy by bringing this song to life. Produced by the legendary Tony Brown, known for his work with icons like George Strait and Reba McEntire, this track captures the timeless essence of classic country, bridging generations in the ever-evolving genre soundscape. Clay will return to the Grand Ole Opry this Friday, March 29 at 7:00 pm CT. You can get your ticket here.
