I thought I would share a new children’s book for children 6 to 9 .Escape of the Killer Noun: The Magic Chalk, Book 1 by K.D. Garcia (Author) would make teaching Language Arts a breeze. I received a copy of in exchange for this review. Be watching for the next review:
Escape of the Killer Noun: The Magic Chalk, Book 1 is a book set in a school classroom. The teacher becomes sick so the principal brings in a substitute. The children are prepared to not like and make trouble for. But the teacher makes learning fun by using magic chalk which I wished I had when I was teaching Charlie.
I love how when you use the chalk to write the right noun down things happen like a Unicorn appearing or a swimming pool. The kids even come together and began to make friends with each other. Charlie has trouble with reading because he is Dyslexic and also has ADHD but having this book made Language Arts fun and we were even able to use the book in our Art Class.
The illustrations will keep you on the edge of your seat. Even though .Escape of the Killer Noun: The Magic Chalk, Book 1 is for younger children both children of all ages and adults as well will enjoy this book and will be asking for the entire series which I plan on purchasing as soon as the other books come out.
