Fierce & Fabulous Calendars!

The Mommies Reviews

Life is funny C is Charlie and his friend B ie Bradley walked into the living room this morning and I had Fierce & Fabulous Calendar laying on my desk. Charlie stopped in his tracks when he saw the women without clothes and asked me what in the heck was this. I explained about the calendar and how the women are in there golden years as Charlie likes to call them.

Charlie browsed through the catalog with me stopping along the way to read about the ladies and Charlie was so impressed with the things they did from riding a motorcycle to Lynne skydiving in her 60s. Which Charlie said no, matter how old he is he isn’t going to try it. How about you? Charlie also thought it was fun to learn one of the ladies said she was born one year before Barbie came out. Can you imagine that?

I love how positive all the ladies are and that they didn’t let CANCER stop them from living life to its fullest. Having this calendar made me miss my mom more than ever as she passed away from Cancer just as my grandmother did. Before you ask no, I can’t see my mom or grandmother posing for a calendar and no, I wouldn’t either. How about you?

If Suzzane was here she would have fallen in love with the illustrations and all the different shades of pink which is her favorite color. Although, Charlie said he liked the blue used to border the pages. As well as the black and white wall paper on the cover of the calendar with the pink feathers we wish we had.

If you know David then you know he loved the picture of the motorcycle and didn’t even notice the ladies or at least that is what he wants Charlie and I to believe. Not. LOL You should see the beautiful pink roses I wish I had in my garden. David also said he wished Mary Sue would have shared the cake with Strawberries with him.

I loved the photo of Gail with the records and wouldn’t mind sitting and listening to music with her. Would you like to join us? Annie is 60 and there is retro pictures with her which I wish I had in my home. Lynne is 78 and sitting on a Rocking Horse I know my Uncle Chuck would have wanted for his living room. Before you ask yes, I would like it as well.

A portion of each Fierce & Fabulous Calendar purchase price will be donated to the American Cancer Society!
