I would like to share a Travel Book or Coffee Table book as David likes to call Wanderlust Road Trips 40 Beautiful Drives Around the World By Moon Travel Guides. Which we received a copy of in exchange for this review but I couldn’t help but add the book to our Christmas Gift Guide 23 as well.
Charlie will be studying the States this year as he finishes up school and having a copy of Wanderlust Road Trips: 40 Beautiful Drives Around the World has allowed us to study spots we didn’t know about. From the United States through the Middle East we can travel without leaving home which is a Godsend for my family.
Charlie couldn’t wait to check out The Blues Highway which we had never heard of but can add to our Homeschool Music Lessons. I wanted to learn more about Route 66 which Suzzane and my Aunt was supposed to travel on Suzzie’s 16th Birthday but she was called home and I would like to go on at least part of the Highway in Memory of Suzzane. Would you like to come with us?
I like how the Author included a description of each State telling us what it covers like the Blue Highways goes from Chicago o New Orleans which if I were to visit New Orleans I would like to go during Mardi Gras which brings two events together enhancing Charlies studies. We even know how many miles we would travel thanks to the facts the Author includes which we can turn into Math problems.
The Author even includes how long it would take to drive between the States and leaves us days to spend in each City which makes planning a trip easier and less stressful. The Author even included Musicians which we would be able to study while taking the trip. Even though we can not physically travel due to finances.
Wanderlust Road Trips 40 Beautiful Drives Around the World will allow Charlie and I to go on mock trips. Charlie can even pack a suitcase and sample foods the States are known for. The pictures in the book will keep you flipping through the book for hours on end. If you like to travel then this is a must have book for you.
I could see children of all ages enjoying the pictures while adults love learning about different Countries. If your a Teacher Wanderlust Road Trips 40 Beautiful Drives Around the World should be in your classroom and also in the school library. As your planning your Christmas Shopping List this year I hope you place this book on your list for anyone who loves to travel or likes learning about the World we live in.
