David and I were in Walmart’s the other day and David found the Soundtrack for Home Alone Christmas (Clear with Red & Green “Christmas Party” Swirl Vinyl Edition). Which is a Christmas movie but I couldn’t remember if Charlie had seen these movies or not. If you was to ask me I believe Home Alone is a classic movie.

Monday:
Write your Spelling words 5 times each in your Spelling Journal in ABC order.
Tuesday:
Use your Spelling words in a story and include a illustration of the story in your Spelling Journal.
Wednesday:
Write your Spelling Words inside your Spelling Journal and include a definition in your Spelling Journal.
Thursday:
Take a Pre-Spelling Test if you miss any of the words write them 5 times each.
Friday:
If you missed words in your Pre-Test then re-take the test. If you made a 100 take today off and do something fun.
Reading Class:
Charlie will be reading Home Alone for 30 minutes each day.
Monday through Thursday Charlie will be writing 2 facts he learned from the book in his Reading Journal
Friday:
Charlie will compile the facts into a report that he will read out loud to his parents on Friday.
Math Class:
Check out Math Facts on Home Alone like did it win any awards? Or how many people did it take to make the film? How much did it make in Theaters?
Turn these answers into 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out. Then let them create 5 math problems for you to work out.
Write the math problems inside your math jorunal.
Drama Class:
Act out a scene from the movie for your parents and inside your Drama Journal include a definition of your performance and include a photo.
Go on a Field Trip to a Resale Store or Vintage Clothing store for a outfit like the wore in the movie for your performance.
Music Class:
I will have Charlie listen to Soundtrack to Home Alone which I plan on purchasing this week and learning one of the songs to perform for us. If were not able to get the album we will look online on YouTube for the songs.
Write the Lyrics of the song you sing inside your Music Journal and include a description of your performance.
Art Class:
Create a drawing using the facts you created based on the movie in your art Journal. Include a illustration and a definition inside your Art Journal.
Cooking Class:
Watch Home Alone and prepare any foods you see in the Film to serve to your parents.
If you didn’t see any food in the movie then look up the State the movie takes place in and prepare the foods there famous for for your parents.
Write the recipe inside your Cooking Journal. Include a illustration of your dish as this will be turned into a cookbook at the end of the year.
