All In The Family is a TV Show I watched when I was younger about Archie, Edith Bunker their daughter Gloria and Mike ie Meathead. For those that didn’t know All In The Family premiered on Jan. 12, 1971. Suzzane had a chance to watch All In The Family because she didn’t pass away until May of 8. Charlie was born in 2007 and Charlie has watched the reruns to All In The Family with me over and over again.

All in the Family is an American television sitcom that aired on CBS for nine seasons, from January 12, 1971, to April 8, 1979. Afterwards, it was produced as the continuation series Archie Bunker’s Place, which picked up where All in the Family had ended and ran for four more seasons through 1983.
Based on the British sitcom Till Death Us Do Part,[1][2] All in the Family was produced by Norman Lear and Bud Yorkin. It starred Carroll O’Connor, Jean Stapleton, Sally Struthers, and Rob Reiner. The show revolves around the life of a working-class man and his family. The show broke ground in its depiction of issues previously considered unsuitable for a US network television comedy, such as racism, antisemitism, infidelity, homosexuality,[3] women’s liberation, rape, religion, miscarriages, abortion, breast cancer, the Vietnam War, menopause, and impotence. Through depicting these controversial issues, the series became arguably one of television’s most influential comedic programs, as it injected the sitcom format with more dramatic moments and realistic, topical conflicts.[4]
All in the Family is often regarded in the United States as one of the greatest television series in history.[5] The show soon became the most watched show in the United States during the summer reruns of the first season,[6] and afterwards ranked number one in the yearly Nielsen ratings from 1971 to 1976.[7] It became the first television series to reach the milestone of having topped the Nielsen ratings for five consecutive years. The episode “Sammy’s Visit” was ranked number 13 on TV Guide’s 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time.[8] TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time ranked All in the Family as number four. Bravo also named the show’s protagonist, Archie Bunker, TV’s greatest character of all time.[9] In 2013, the Writers Guild of America ranked All in the Family the fourth-best written TV series ever.[10]

Monday:
Right your spelling words in ABC order 5 times each in your Spelling Journal.
Tuesday:
Write your spelling words in your spelling journal and include a definition for each word.
Wednesday:
Use your spelling words in a story and if you write a story include an illustration. Or use your spelling words in a sentence and write the sentences in your spelling journal.
Thursday:
Take a Pre-Spelling Text if you make a 100 on your test you have Friday off. If not write the words you missed 5 times each.
Friday:
Retake your Spelling test if you didn’t make a 100 if you did then take the day off.
Read:
Charlie will be reading All in the Family: The Show that Changed Television which we found on Amazon.
Each day Charlie will be reading for 30 minutes a day and to write two facts inside his reading journal he learned from the book.
Math Class:
How long was All In The Family on?
How many shows was produced?
How much did it cost to make the show?
How many actors was on the show.?
Use the answers from these questions to create 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out. Have them create 5 math problems for you to do. Write the math problems inside your math journal.
PE Class:
Watch the show and see if you can see anything they did for Exercise and do what they did. I remember at one time the little girl was going Roller Skating which Charlie hasn’t ever done. for a Home School Field Trip were going to visit a Skating Rink. Would you like to come with us?
Cooking Class:
Watch the show and as they have dinner make notes of what is served and prepare that meal for your family. As a child we all know you can’t drink Beer like Archie, but you can have Milk like the young girl does. Write the recipes inside your Cooking Journal which will be turned into a cookbook at the end of the year.
Drama Class:
Visit a Resale Store or a Vintage Clothing Store as part of a Homeschool Field Trip and pick out a outfit like they would wear . In Drama Class watch All In The Family and act out a scene from the show for your parents.
Music Class:
Look up the Theme Song to All in The Family which I now by heart and perform it for your family.
Art Class:
Create a piece of Art showcasing what you learned about All In The Family using different styles of art and supplies.
