The other day I took out Hamburger meat for dinner. I let Charlie know he would be cooking. Then I gave Charlie several choices he could make including Hamburger Helper, Hamburgers, Quesadillas, or Spaghetti or Goulash. To my surprise Charlie said he wanted to make Spaghetti which made we so happy because we hadn’t had it in a while. At time Spaghetti was one of our go to meals. Here lately Charlie had gotten tired of Spaghetti and didn’t want us to make it. This meal came from Walmart and was part of our weekly grocery shopping trip.
Charlie and I got out all the ingredients for the Spaghetti and the pans we would use which was 2 Saucepans and a Skillet ie Frying Pan and the Pizza Pan for the Garlic Bread which was Pepperidge Farms 5 Cheese. Charlie and Davids favorite Bread. A Spatula for the meat. A slotted spoon for the Spaghetti and another son for the Spaghetti Sauce with a Colander.
Charlie opened up one pound of All Natural* 93% Lean /7% Fat Lean Ground Beef, 1 lb Roll along with a pound of Great Value, Mild Ground Italian Sausage, Pork, 1lb. We spray the pan with Great Value Canola Oil Non-Stick Cooking Spray, 8 oz. We put in both packages of meat into our frying pan on warm. We add Great Value Italian Seasoning, 0.95 Oz to the meat.
I can’t tell you how much we use because everyone’s taste is different so use as much or as little as you like. One the meat was finished cooking we used the Colander to drain the meat. We sat it aside until everything else was done. Let me tell you it smelled to Heaven I wanted to sneak a bite or two of the meat.
Next Charlie gets out our large saucepan and put in 6 cups of water with a little Butter to keep the Noodles from Sticking. Some people use Cooking Oil or Salt. Once the water comes to a rolling boil, we added Great Value Half- Length Spaghetti. We cooked them for the time on the back of the box. Once the Spaghetti was done, we drained it in our Colander and sat it aside.
We opened Prego Mini-Meatball Pasta Sauce, 24 oz Jar. Charlie poured the Sauce into a Saucepan to warm on low while everything else cooked. Charlie pre-heated the Oven and placed the Bread inside which we cooked to the time on the package. Once it was done and the Sauce was warmed we added the Meat back to our Pan, then the Noodles and poured in the Sauce and made sure it was all mixed up.
