How to freeze mini sweet peppers

The Mommies Reviews

Charlie has become obsessed with Fajita’s. Quesadilla’s and Fajita’s all Charlie wants to eat. When we went grocery shopping this week Charlie decided he wanted to purchase a variety of Peppers. I knew we wouldn’t use them all, so I decided to look up for to freeze mini sweet peppers to use later on. As I was preparing the information for Charlie, I thought you might want this information as well so you can freeze your own Sweet Peppers.

Instructions:

Wash and cut the tops off of the mini sweet Peppers.

Clear out the seeds inside the Peppers. Then slice the Peppers at a desired thickness of your choosing.

Lay the Peppers on a paper towel to dry the juices.

Place the Peppers in a single layer on a plate.

Pop the Peppers in the freezer for 45 minutes.

Remove the Peppers from the freezer and transfer to a freezer bag or a food saver bag. Try to remove as much air as possible.

Place in the freezer for up to 1 year.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
