A Day of Feelings

The Mommies Reviews

Good morning. this week is the first day of school for a lot of students. The children and parents will have a lot of mixed feelings including scared and anxious. Which is why I couldn’t wait to share our latest addition in our Back-to- School Gift Guide 2023: A Day Full of Feelings A Book of Emotions and Opposites Beginning Baby books from Chronicle Books in exchange for this review and a spot in our Back-To- School Gift Guide.

Before you dive into the book check out the cover. Isn’t the Monkey cute in her polka dot dress. Hw about the Fox? is that a Whale that looks mad? Or is it something else? If so what is it? I like the color of blue they choose for the title. What about you? Then there is red Charlie’s favorite color. How about you. Do you like red?

Off to school we go to check in with our friends. Paisley a Octopus is sad. Mateo the Red Panda shares his snacks. Isn’t that nice? No, more sad Paisley now she is glad. Then there is Layla the Llama who is shy. Mia the Monkey is bored and is my favorite character. Which character do you like and why?

Would you like to meet Riley the Narwhal who is feeling frustrated. Before you ask me why. I’ve decided I’m not going to tell you because I think you should pick up your own copy of A Day Full of Feelings to read to your children and to share with your friends and family. Don’t forget to pick up a copy for the teachers and staff in the schools your children attends.

Then there is Elijah the Elephant which Charlie thought was funny because David’s daughter Leslie’s son is named Elijah which is Charlie’s nephew. Charlie wanted me to let you know the illustrations in the book are so fun to look at. Learning about different feelings is something Charlie and I can study in our Homeschool.

A Day full of Feelings is perfect for toddlers although anyone looking at the book will fall in love with both the story and the characters. I love how A Day Full of Feelings teaches children’s a lesson while giving them the perfect bedtime story for boys and girls.
