Food Network Magazine The Big Book Of Pizza

The Mommies Reviews

I thought I would share a cookbook from Food Network Magazine that I received for a review which is Food Network Magazine the Big Book of Pizza – (Hardcover)

All I needed in my life was more PIZZA!! How about you? If Charlie had his way all he would eat is Pizza and Chicken with Ramon Noodles once in a while. Before you ask what about David, he also loves Pizza and wouldn’t mind having it a couple times a week. As for me most of the time I pass on Pizza because its mine and Charlie’s go to for lunch.

With Charlie taking a Homeschool Cooking Class as part of his Home Economics course I knew Pizza would be something Charlie and David would enjoy making which we’ve done in the past. I also want to make Biscuit Pizza’s with my niece Lily and my nephew Jason the next time there out of school. Would you like to make them with us?

In the meantime, I’ve been browsing The Big Book of Pizza and looking for a couple Pizza’s to make for our back to school party. Would you like to celebrate with us and help us prepare the Pizza’s? Once I print out the recipes, I plan on wrapping up the Cookbook for Charlie to open up the first day of school.

Be prepared because I bet you David and I have to take Charlie shopping that evening for ingredients for David and Charlie to make us Pizza that evening. I just hope David doesn’t have to work a double that day or I will have one upset child on my hands. Unless I call my sister to go grocery shopping with us and invite her to dinner which could be nice to have company.

Don’t do what I did and set The Big Book of Pizza on your desk or you will find yourself hungry and craving Pizza from looking at the slice of Pizza on the cover. Or you will find yourself wanting to order a Pizza or visit a Italian Restaurant which my family will not need to do since we have this cookbook full of yummy recipes.

I love how the Authors created an index with pictures of all the Pizza’s because with David not being able to read, he can find what he wants through looking at the pictures and flip to the page they listed. You will be amazed all the different categories from simple Pizza’s to Grilled Pizza\s which I\ve never had. Have you?

Now before you say I don’t have Pizza Dough to put the ingredients on the Author included a recipe for us. Which I can’t wait to try and make. Would you like to join me? The Authors included tips for us which I don’t know about you but I will need. There is also topping tips which I can’t wait to share with Charlie and David.

You will not need Canned Pizza sauce as there is a recipe on how to make our own. Thank the LORD because I wouldn’t know how to. Would you? If you’re afraid you’re not getting all the veggies you need there is no, need to worry if you try Sausage and Broccolini Pizza. Which before you ask my family is going to pass on.

I bet David and Charlie would like the Barbecue Chicken Pizza. How about you? I can’t wait to try the New-York Style Pizza in memory of Suzzie who went to New York. For my niece Lily and my nephew David I think they would like Three-Cheese Bacon Pizza. Would you like a slice of this because I would.

Charlie says who needs Spaghetti and Meatballs when you can have a Meatball Pizza. If you’re hungry during breakfast, you should check out Mini Bacon-and-Egg Pizzas. If you like fruit then this is the cookbook for you as there is Pizza with Grapes on it. Which again Charlie, David and I will pass on.

Charlie and David love making tacos and since they love Pizza, I think I will make them a Taco Pizza. Which I wonder if it would taste like the Pizza, I used to get at a restaurant my parents would take our family to for Sunday dinners. Make sure you check out the last section which gives you different ideals for Crust including Tortillas. The only thing missing is Dessert Pizza but the sky is the limit and if you let your imganation run wild, I am sure you can come up with one or two or three.
