In Homeschool this year Charlie and I will be studying transportation. I would like to share a new children’s book with you. Ultimate Spotlight Cars which I received a physical copy of for this review.
Like most little boys when Charlie was little her loved Cars and learning more about them as well as seeing his dad drive the big machines he used at work. Which is why Ultimate Spotlight Cars would have been a perfect Gift for Charlie. Now that he is 16 and this book is geared toward younger children you wouldn’t think Charlie would be interested in the story, but he was and enjoyed reading the book over and over again.
Through the book I’ve come up with a list of Field Trips I would like to check into to see if Charlie and I couldn’t go including a manufacturing class. In our art class Charlie has been fun drawing the cars he saw in the book as well as ones he wished was in the book. Then Charlie made up more stores for him to read to my niece Lily and my nephew Jason.
i love how detailed the book is and that it’s interactive keeping littles busy as their parents read them the story. Charlie and I found new words to add to our Language Arts Class. For our Homeschool Cooking Class were going to create Sandwiches and Cookies for a transportation In party. Would you like to come?
In the book is a stoplight that shows us red, green and yellow which Charlie and I can play Red Light! Green Light in our PE Class. Would you like to play with us? The book shows us car maintenance which is perfect for our Auto Body class Charlie is taking as he will be taking Driver Ed soon and driving. LORD help us all.
Then there is a Racetrack that pops up ad reminded Charlie and I it’s been a while since we’ve been to the Car Races and its time to go to Texas Motor Speedway to watch them. Would you like to come with us? Not onlyt that I need to pick up a Racetrack for Charlie which I always wanted him to have which he never did. Then we can race cars in PE. Would you like to race with us?
Interactive and engaging, . Ultimate Spotlight Carss gives children a closer look at the ins and outs of this beloved vehicle! Explore what’s inside a car, how a car is made, and even get in on the excitement of a race track.
