I wanted to share a children’s book called Do You Know?: Music. I received a copy Do You Know?: Music of for this review.
Even though Charlie is 16 and Do You Know? Music and Musical Instruments is geared toward younger children. I can see using Do You Know?: Music (TW Do You Know). Charlie and I had a lot of fun discussing the children on the front cover and how a boombox fit into this story. Along with why someone might want a pair of headphones.
Charlie and I had fun going through the table of contents discussing what we would find in the book. Including making music, Musical instruments and jobs in music which Charlie and I had a lot of fun learning about. Along listening to music including devices we can use which we plan on going on a Field Trip to a Music Store to see in person. Would you like to come with us?
If you’re not busy this morning takes a walk-in nature and listen to the sounds of nature which Do You Know?: Music (TW Do You Know): shares with us. Did you know voices can be music? Charlie and I learned about String Instruments. How about brass instruments? Woodwind or Percussion which style of instrument would you like to play and why?
Did you know there is electronic instruments like a mixing console? Have you ever used one? Come check out Medieval instruments and unique instruments in the book which for Charlie and I where a set of pans when he was little. Did your children make music if so what did they use for instruments and why?
I like how Do You Know?: Music (TW Do You Know) includes reviews which can be used for test in our Homeschool Music Class. I enjoyed learning about instruments from past to present including the appearance of the piano. Charlie enjoyed be reminding of songs from his childhood like The Wheels on The Bus Go Round and Round. Would you like to join us in a sing along?
We was reminded there is music schools which we can send our children to especially when homeschooling our children which takes place of one of the classes we teach our children. Inside the book we learned how to read music which was fun for Charlie and me. Come join the children in there school concert.
The Author touched on music groups and why songs get stuck in our heads. How about music genres? We learned how to make instruments. Would you like to join us in art class as we see what we can make for our music class? Come learn how to create sounds from the book which can annoy the people around you Charlie said which can be fun unless they yell at you.
We learned about the Theater and Charlie, and I will be setting up a visit to the Symphony. Would you like to come with us? How about composing your own music and visiting a recording studio for a Homeschool Field Trip? I know where there is a Recording studio in the Fort Worth stockyards and also in Arlington. Would you like to come with us?
Now, I am not going to tell you what else you will find inside Do You Know?: Music (TW Do You Know) because I think you should pick up a copy of the book to share with your friends and family. Also, pick up a extra copy of the book to share with your children’s music teacher and Choir Teacher in both Church and school.
