I thought I would share with you a new self-help book that anyone of any age needing to move can and will learn from. Built To Move The Ten Essential Habits To Help You Move Freely And Live Fully by Kelly Starrett and Juliet Starrett
When we began our journey of Homeschooling, I always thought Charlie would return to public school but here we are heading into high school and I need a drink or several as I tackle the subjects Charlie needs to learn. Then throw in dieting, working from home and cleaning a house you would think I would be up and moving and getting steps in which isn’t the case.
I could blame Charlie or David but it isn’t there fault. I could say its my knee which it is at times but if truth were to be told I am lazy. Yes, lazy but know I don’t have to be if I use . Built To Move The Ten Essential Habits To Help You Move Freely And Live Fully which offers us 10 steps which can be done in one day or one step a day for 10 days.
Not only that since I’ve told Charlie I want him to teach the PE Class as he is wanting to play Basketball and Lift Weights he can keep me on track with walking and what I eat. On the days when I say no, I don’t want to walk or its raining or to cold or hot to go outside Charlie can open up this book and tell me which exercises to do and do them with me because you will find . Built To Move The Ten Essential Habits To Help You Move Freely And Live Fully is perfect for anyone of any age.
I’m one that likes to sit on the floor and play with the kids but here lately I haven’t been able to do this even though when visiting my mother in law I end up the floor because there is no, where to site through. Built To Move The Ten Essential Habits To Help You Move Freely And Live Fully I will be able to sit and exercise while visiting her and hopefully this will motivate her to do the exercises as well since her doctor is wanting her to lose weight.
Keep your fingers crossed as I’ve been able to get Dvid to walk with me more but his knee has been bothering him a lot more from the Motorcycle wreck he had in high school that I can get him to try out these exercises with Charlie and I bringing us closer together as a family. If your looking for a work out partner your welcome to come and join us.
I plan on purchasing a copy of . Built To Move The Ten Essential Habits To Help You Move Freely And Live Fully foreach of my girlfriends then seeing if we can all get together once a week for lunch and exercise and just olde fashioned girl talk with the men and kids around. Would you like to join us? If you have children we can see if Charlie would watch them as part of his Homeschool Home Economics Class and teach them these steps as part of his Homeschool PE Class so they can work out with you at home.

After decades spent working with pro-athletes, Olympians, and Navy Seals, mobility pioneers Kelly and Juliet Starrett began thinking about the physical well-being of the rest of us. What makes a durable human? How do we continue to feel great and function well as we age? And how do we counteract the effects of technology-dependence, sedentary living, and other modern ways of life on our body’s natural need for activity?
The answers lie in an easy-to-use formula for basic mobility maintenance: 10 tests + 10 physical practices = 10 ways to make your body work better.
