Homeschool Resource: DFW Elite Toy Museum (Dog Friendly including dog antiques)

The Mommies Reviews

Living in Haltom City we all know there isn’t much to do. Although we did have a museum which was the Birdville Museum but like everything else in Haltom City it closed down. Now, I would like to share a hidden gem I found which is the DFW Elite Toy Museum (Dog Friendly including dog antiques) located in Haltom City. Even though David has lived here all of his life and my family has lived here since I was in High School I didn’t even know DFW Elite Toy Museum existed. Did you know about DFW Elite Toy Museum? Have you been here?

Finding this hidden gem will allow my family to go on a Field Trip in our Hometown and turning it into a Homeschool Resource: DFW Elite Toy Museum (Dog Friendly including dog antiques). Its the perfect place for our family to visit as we all love toys and dogs and Charlie can bring Bear with us then we could stop somewhere for lunch. Would you like to come with us?

Words From Ron

Manufacturers of auto toys, many of which you will find on this site, are listed below. This is a hobby for me, but having the museum is the best way to share the toys with others. Unfortunately, I spend a lot of time keeping the mother ship (my businesses) running so I don’t get to spend the time and attention here that I would like.

Dogs in Art, Toys And Antiques is an exhibition at DFW Elite Toy Museum. A selection of some of the most iconic dog themed European and American paintings, sculptures, and vintage/antique toys from the Ron Sturgeon collection.

The exhibit begins with a Victorian Period Collage and continues with a delightful vintage and antique toy display, a 1930’s Store Window Tapper, and ends with the Lap of Luxury Display. The extensive art of dogs is impressive.
