Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers

The Mommies Reviews

Good morning, how are you? I thought I would share a new dessert with you that contains both Fruit and Alcohol. What more do you need s what David would ask. For me that would be a whole other dessert because I don’t care for Strawberries. How about you? But it isn’t my Birthday it’s David and since he loves Strawberries and Pretzels I thought I would surprise him with Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers.

Which I plan on making on David’s day off. Before you ask since there is parental supervision when making Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers Charlie will be helping for his Homeschool Cooking Class because it’s not different that cooking with Wine is it? In the meantime have a wonderful day.

Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers

Strawberries ( You can make about 1 pound of Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers with this recipe)

1 to 2 cups of Cake Flavored Vodka
1 pound of Melting Chocolate or Almond Bark
2 Graham Crackers
Sanding Sugar
Paper Towels

Directions:

Begin by cleaning the Strawberries and patting them dry.

Place the Strawberries into a clean container with a closable lid.

Pour enough cake flavored Vodka over the Strawberries to cover them.

Close the lid on the container and place the Strawberries in the fridge for 6 to 24 hours to soak. I like to let them soak overnight when possible.

When the Strawberries have soaked for an adequate amount of time, carefully remove them from the Vodka and pat them dry.

It is important to remove any liquid from the exterior of the berry.

I like to let them rest on a paper towel while the White Chocolate melts.

Crush 2 Graham Crackers.

You want them to be a little chunky, so don’t crush too much.

Place these in a small bowl.

Fill a second small bowl with edible glitter, sanding sugar, or sprinkles

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave, or in a double boiler until it can be mixed smooth. Remove from heat.
Dunk one berry into the melted chocolate.

Immediately dunk the Berry into the crushed Graham Crackers, and then into the edible glitter or sanding sugar.

Place the Strawberry on a parchment paper lined work surface and repeat, using all of the Strawberries’ you have soaked and then dried.

You can transfer the Stawberries to the fridge to harden.

Enjoy!

These Boozy Strawberry Shortcake Nibblers are meant for adult consumption only.
