Happy April Fools and Friday Blessings
Good morning and how are you today?
Can you believe it is already April? I remember as a child on April 1st how we would try to outdo everyone in the jokes we played on each other.
Then we grow up, and sometimes we still do a few jokes but nothing like when we were kids. I would like to say “Happy April Fools and Friday Blessings”!!
Charlie is 8, and I didn’t even remind him about “April Fools” as I would have to explain what it was and how it worked. I didn’t feel like dealing with teaching the Holiday to Charlie. I am just going to let April Fools go without us celebrating.
But what I can tell you is that I should have taken it as a learning lesson as we could have studied about April Fools in Charlie’s classroom and I am sure I would have found some lesson plans if I had taken the time to look for them. But time is moving on, and this year I just am not going to do that. But next year I will be better prepared, and I will make sure and include lessons about April Fools in our school curriculum.
So as we go into April I would like to wish you a “Happy Aprils Fool” and a “Blessed Friday” and I hope you have a terrific weekend. And I hope that April has all the things you are looking for and so much more.
May God Bless you and your friends and family. Happy April Fools and Friday Blessings again. I would like to say thank you for stopping by and supporting our blog.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
