Let’s Go to Color Camp

The Mommies Reviews

As we move into the weekend, I wanted to share a new addition to our Easter Gift Guide 2023: Let’s Go to Color Camp! Beginning Baby. Written by which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.

The perfect baby present and self-purchase for just the right moment in a baby and parent’s life. I know this book is for babies or toddlers, but I know if my niece Lily who is 9 saw the cover of the book with the Octopus dressed for Summer. Lilly would fall in in love with the cover. Lilly would want to sit right down and read this story.

Which is what I had thought of doing although I took a picture of the book to send to my mother in law to share with my niece Daisy who has been working on learning her colors. Granny Sherry has fun asking her what each color was.. Granny Sheery did say the tied dyed wheel stumped Daisy but it was mine and Charlie’s favorite part.

To make Let’s Go to Color Camp! last longer and to get Charlie and I out of our seats I held a Scavenger Hunt and as we read the book and looked for the colors inside the book we also looked for those colors around our apartment. The next time we read this story we will take the book outside on a walk and look for all the different colors as well as adding colors that wasn’t included in the book.

I love how the book included animals of all kinds which we can study when we study animals this year. As well as use the colors from the book in our Homeschool Art Class. Would you like to join us? Charlie and I heard of names he hadn’t heard before as well as words he didn’t recognize we can use in our Language Arts Class on our Spelling Test.

I loved ELijah the Elephant which is my grandson’s name and Charlie liked Rily the Narwhal. I love how at the end of the book it tells you to mix colors to see what you can come up with. Which allows us to use our imganation which we all should do all the time. If you haven’t had a opportunity to check out Let’s Go to Color Camp! I hope you do as soon as possible.

If you’re looking for Easter Gifts for the little one’s on your shopping list make sure you pick up a copy of Let’s Go to Color Camp! which will fit perfectly into your children’s Easter Baskets and don’t forget a copy for your children’s teachers and librarians and even their art teacher if they take art classes.
